A friend is in prosperity a pleasure, a solace in adversity, in grief a comfort, in joy a merry companion, at all times an other I.

I couldn't tell from the picture if the two of you were wearing your toe rings???

You both look beautiful. I miss you both very much.

Jamey... Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!! You drew up the contract! Wasn't there some sort of confidentiality thing going on?? And now we're BLOGGING about it. Goodness!

For the record: I don't normally wear toe rings and wouldn't even think about it at this point unless you move back to Texas! Just so you know, I tried to wear that fancy diamond one on my finger, but it turned green. So... let's just say it now occupies a very special place in my jewelry box and my heart!

We miss YOU. I can't imagine it will ever be the same without you.

Break it to me gently... you haven't found a new singing partner, have you??

Love, Sarah

I never take off my toe ring.

So, do you think I'm a bad influence on Sarah?

We miss you, too, Jamey!!!!!!!!!! No one else is here to keep Sarah in line. And you know how she can get...

Sarah, you know I love you for what you are inside, but WOW, you are a
VISION, girl!! I am lucky to call you "friend" for more reasons than I can summarize here.

Thank you for being a part of my life.

Oh, very funny! Hey, somebody had to step up to the plate. It's a tough job, I know. Just remember our rewards are in HEAVEN! (Diana, did you draw the short straw?)

Pleez... what is with this vision stuff? That's embarrassing! Anyway, I was just trying to catch a little bit of YOUR sparkle! Most days, as you WELL know, my apperance is a cross between Chairman Mao and the Flying Nun. Maybe you were shocked that I actually built in a few extra minutes to apply some eye make-up? Did I tell you I found some Max Factor in the back of my drawer? It was, like, eight years old (sorry Dr. Driscoll, O.D.)and I couldn't get it to go in a straight line. Alas... I remain a fashion train wreck.

OK... now I need to go find that verse again about vanity...

Next topic???

And where is Tammy?

Love, Sarah

In full disclosure my toe ring is in my coin purse. Any time I am scrambling for a nickel or penny I see it and think of your toes. Kind of fun.

Sarah, haven't found a singing partner yet. Seems that fewer and fewer people really appreciate classic 1980's country. What is this world coming to? I have joined in with a few mariachi (sp?) bands here on the River Walk but my spanish is rusty to say the least. Although thanks to 4th grade spanish I now know all of my colors and can count to 50!

Adios for now!

Sarah, Jamey, Diana (and Tammy if you're reading),

From my sweet memories, you are all beautiful women ... with or without the makeup!

I miss you, Jamey!

You two are fabulous babes! I don't buy the Flying Nun bit, Sarah, look at those embroidered jeans and furry vest! If you guys keep looking so great, I'm gonna have to get out the lipstick... and I can not wear the toe ring, until I find the some nail polish.

Any body but me doing Beth Moore's Daniel? We can't keep talking about our beauty, its too Babylonian.

I'll make it unanimous, I miss Jamey, too, way too much. And Della, I also miss you.

Della... how fitting you will soon be guest blogging HERE on the subject of beauty! Ladies, get your pens out! We will want to take notes!

Tammy... Babylonian! Now that you mention it, I was kind of going for the Cleopatra look (do I need to pray about that?), but ended up with squiggles instead. I don't think I'll try that again...

Jamey... oh, dear. Did I somehow lead you to believe that I actually, uh, appreciate 1980's country music? Uh-oh...
