dawn... thank you! i'm usually flying out the door too fast to accessorize, so that big, bold corsage was like a walk on the wild side! my friend, tammy, got a construction paper crown. i'm thinking maybe i could borrow that one next year... i don't know, maybe it's not ethical to borrow other people's mother's day gifts...

sweet memories! hope you had a lovely day, as well!

Still remember my corsage for Mother's day that Mackenzie made (I think 2nd grade). Anyway, Carrie Blake and I arrived at church with our's proudly displayed on our chest. At the same time Cheryl M got out of the car with her girls and a "oh crud" look on her face. She didn't know it was required church wearing.

Still laugh when I think of her face - any Emily's!!!

Glad to see you had a wonderful Mother's Day.

oh, that's funny in a sad kind of way!!! i'm sensitive to these things ever since i threw away "bunnies in the woods" when colin was 3. i wasn't too clever and had it on top of the trash. he toddled by and exclaimed: "you fwoo away bunnies in duh woodz?"

i'm not sure who was more traumatized on that one... him or me!
